@StevensGirl14 I just bought sims medieval too, and ran into this problem. The game needs a file from a microsoft program that probably isn't on your computer. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?displayLang=en&id=35 here is a link to the program, and if you download that then you should be set. 🙂
