click to open the game, get a popup that says "important Message: game requires interenet to Verify ownership of the game, the picture it shows me is of Sims2 Fun with Pets. Can someone help me? i have tried restarting the computer, i have disconnected and reconnected the internet, and i have tired uninstalling and reinstalling the game. please help ☹️

I fixed this by going offline and then back online on Origin.

Mine is because of my norton internet security not running, after i turn on my antivirus, i got in the game, but still, stuck at the title screen
If it at least did something, error message, whatever, but what can I know from the fact, that it just won't start and stay in task manager for just a few seconds? If it told me "nope, I just won't work because of 'some-kind-of-reason'", I probably wouldn't be as much frustrated, as I am now...
- Debrielana I know how you feel, mine is exactly the same! I'm so glad I'm not the only one experiencing this. If my PC gave me even a tiny idea what the problem is it would be great. Instead it just attempts to load for a few seconds and then gives up! SO annoying!! I think I may have to give up before I launch it out if my window haha!
