I currently tried to re-load all of my Sims 1 (original Sims games) onto a recent laptop running Windows 8. All of the gamed loaded perfectly, but once the game loads, it won't save anything. I can create a family and try to move them into a house, they aren't there when I move them in. Then, when I return to the neighborhood family bank to try to add them again, they are gone! Nothing will save and I didn't know if this was because the original Sims games aren't compatible with Windows 8. PLEASE HELP! : (
