Personally I would love a switch version as I find the tv in the house is far too big and it kills my eyes. I'm getting older and I haven't got time to be sat at the family tv with it. I find games are very seldom tailored towards the actual fans of the franchise and try to focus more on bringing new fans in.
The switch is handy for a part time gamer like myself and there are plenty of big games on it, I would have no problem buying more storage to support it but it's not a big task to make the game worth playing because there are people who still play much older versions of the sims that still enjoy them and they're from ps1 and ps2. It's not beyond their ability they just don't want to have to fix glitches on yet another platform. Look how long it took them to drop sims 5 and focus on sims 4 which people were still actively buying add ons that were broken and not being fixed. Despite fans of the genre saying it was absolutely disgraceful especially when they were still rolling out more add ons on top of it.
They should look to expand the game especially now that they've decided the fans were right and abandoned the sims5 project.
