- @Simsister2004 Actually, TSM was intended to be a long term game with expansions like any sims game. They quit after the first expansion due to lackluster sales. Which has been an extreme disappointment to those of us who really liked it. If they had the simple foresight to vary the quests and kingdom layout with each ambition they would have been much more successful.

I think you might be right. Never let too much depend on the player's fantasy and will to experiment. Anyway, I like the way I can vary the quests myself by choosing different heroes and different approaches to each quest. - I've only got a few hours of time played so far, but I like this game. It's a lot more structured and goal oriented then Sims 3, but that in it's self isn't a bad thing.

Well, it IS structured and goal oriented, and absolutely for adults all the way through. Sims can get drunk, be doped, threaten each other and even kill each other. I use it for taking a breath away from all the routines in The Sims 4. To me it is kind of refreshing with some quests rather than making things up myself all the time. - Please tell me has the game been updated/patched? I played it some time ago but got bored real quick as i had to redo all the tasks in the same sequence. Apart from that i really enjoyed it and would gladly return to playing it if the gameplay got improved.
- I go back to it for a few weeks every few months, I find I lose interest after a while because a lot of the quests feel kind of repetitive. But when I come back after a while I really enjoy it. I like to try different ways of playing, making all female heroes, make heroes with fatal flaws that make it really difficult. I wish it had more sandbox elements - being able to age and have families and design houses, and maybe a couple more maps - but it is a nice game for what it is.

Sorry, no. This game has not been touched since shortly after the Pirates and Nobles expansion.- Still play it and still love it :) I'm going to try Castaways probably this weekend, since it's hard to find other games in TSM's same vein.

But it has, I have played for the last 5 months, and I had at least 3 updates concerning Medieval. - @buzz_infamous, Yes the game is patched. If you can't get it to patch through Origin, there's a website called The Patches Scrolls, they have patches for the game there.
