I have upgraded my computer to Windows 10 but the screen resolution for The Sims 2 is set to 800 x 600 and can't be changed. I have followed all the online instructions but when I try to save the changes to the graphics folder it says i don't have permissions. Any suggestions?

If you have already tried launching The Sims 2, please also attach the game's config log, named according to the following format: [DESKTOP/LAPTOP]-config-log.txt. It can be found in Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 (or The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection)\Logs.
