Server app to run locally on our network to play mysims together?

Wondering if EA games would be willing to do this for us.  We cant seem to find any games for online play so we can interact together that don't involve killing/fighting/adult content/relationships.

MySims is the only game that seems to be good for all of us - even the little ones.  We would like to use it as a reward for hard work, and it would be so much more fun to play all together.

My husband is a network architect, MCSE, VMWare engineer, Cisco certified, blah, blah, blah....!  He knows his way around a computer and its network 🙂  So this would be nothing for him to take care of if he can get the server app.  It would be local, just for us 6.  Not that anyone even plays it anymore anyhow...I bet we are the last!!  

I do not know if EA Games would be willing to do this for our family, but this is where I was directed to ask the question from the online chat I just finished.  Hopefully someone can help 🙂
