Thanks for those details! Let's give these steps a try to clear this up:

• Open Windows Settings > Apps, scroll down to the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables, click each 2010 version and uninstall it.  Don't touch the other versions
  
  
• Download fresh copies from here:  https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26999
  
  
• You need both x86 and x64, but skip ia64 which is for servers
  
  
• Restart the computer
  
  
• Try again to install the game
  
  
• If it doesn't work, repeat the process but with the 2005 runtime (x86 only, and it doesn't say x86 but is correct as long as it does NOT say x64)  https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26347

Hi i tried doing the first solution and it didn’t work i also tried the second one but it didn’t work either i was wondering if there’s any other options or if the games a lost cause haha sorry for the late reply

katiejross​  Since it's a long weekend and EA_Solaire might not be around for a day or two, I have a suggestion you could try in the interim: a repair install of Windows.  The point is that for some reason, the installation of one or more VC++ runtimes is failing, and that might be a more general system issue rather than a problem with the runtimes.

A repair install doesn't delete your data (when done properly), it just refreshes the OS files.  The idea is to address a number of potential causes of this problem at once.  Here's how to do it:

If you get to step 14 and are NOT asked to keep personal files and apps, back out and start over.
