Should previous Sims 1, 2 and 3 be updated to play easily?

As I move on and up in age, now retired for sometime, and been playing PC games for 30+ years and been playing the Sims since the Sims 1. I wonder what others think about previous Sim games and wanti...

But relatively easy to make work. It's more that the cards don't support the game, not the other way arround.
