I agree that they should post all the same announcements here as on twitter. However, I do have to agree with @Netzspannung as well. I've never once thought the forums were a place for me to connect with Guru's but rather a service provided to us to connect with other simmers. We don't even bug report here! That goes to EA. I've always thought of it as more a treat if a Guru shows up in a thread! They do read the feedback section though, even if they're not always commenting on it and I see them often in the bug reports over at EA AnswersHQ.

There's not enough time in a day for them to work their full time job working on the game, read all the forums and answer everything, and other social medias. It would be unreasonable to expect them to do any of this outside office hours, although I do suspect that some do. Personally, I'd rather them keep working on the game and updates and bug fixes than answering my post on here.
