Maybe adding the color wheel is gonna break all the cc people created? I am thinking if that is one reason they cant add it now because they dont want to break every piece of cc the community made. It also seems like lots of work if adding means they have to go back to every item and make it recolorable. Dont get me wrong, i said that i wanted it back, am just trying to figure out if it is easier said than done.

The way to do it would be to keep the existing “preset” swatches as is and create a special “custom” swatch that, when selected, opens up the color wheel and allows the application of RGB values to however many channels or elements a given article might have.

    That would be fabulous.

congratulations it only took them 6 years

six years and two white game chargers making videos.

It's been a lot more than those two, they're just more well-known. I have several GC followed on Youtube and pretty much all of them have made a video about this. I have a feeling that they've been coordinating behind the scenes for this and good on them for it. It worked.

Agreed nearly all of them spoke out. I think even Deli, Steph, Pixelade, ... In fact, Deligracy made a video about this two years ago and she's not exactly a small channel :joy: :

(ETA: nope sorry wrong video. I thought I'd seen one about this though ? anyway, doesn't matter for the points below :))

This team just seems super slow when it comes to stuff like this, which is a shame. If anything I don't think it's nec. the pressure from a couple of gamechangers but more the general BLM vibe in society, finally reminding people that everyone wants to feel represented and treated equally, no matter what medium or part of society we're talking about.

It's sad though that so many companies need such a major tragedy and push to be spurned into action at all ... It always feels a little less genuine to me when you're just doing it for bon ton rather than because it's right, at a time when not everyone was already talking about it. BUT STILL, better late than never I guess.

If only there was a Personality Matters movement :persevere:

I kind of wish they could hire a Twitch friend of mine gerbsims for that. She went to school and works with psychology. I had such a wonderful discussion with her last night about genders.
  • I do like how SimGuruNinja mentioned this:

Nice to know the Gurus want representation for themselves too.
