I'm not too good at it, but, I suppose I can crochet a simple little scarf.
That's more than I can :) Besides, you have to start somewhere! Some of my early knitting was ... lame :)
@LosaruTaiyo I did my learning from books, and still do when I run into new techniques or figure there must be a more "proper" way to do something. My daughter uses a mix of books and YouTube (she knits and is learning weaving). I've never taken a class, but I've been thinking about it!
