You can only make your own designs through their Facebook thing apparently so I've never done it as I don't do Facebook. There is an online conversion freebie for turning pics into real cross-stitch that I use - here (not for the app I was talking about). It's free, but there are restrictions such as the amount of stitches it will give you in a pattern (I think it's 150 wide and 120 high or something like that).
