Sims 1: Can't "Wake Up" Sim After Passing Out

When a sim passes out on the floor, there's a bug in which the cursor, when placed over the sim, does not allow you to wake up the sim. The cursor doesn't change to the sim's name, which is required in order for you to be able to click on the sim and select "wake up."

There it can usually be resolved by rotating the camera and/or zooming in and out.
