Sims 1
Hi I’ve bought the sims 1 and I’m trying to load it however it won’t launch the game I’ve tried multiple times and I’ve restarted the app and my computer

MaddenR01 Please try reinstalling your 2015 and newer VC++ runtimes. Open Windows Settings > Apps, scroll down to the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables, and uninstall everything from 2015 and newer. Don't touch the older versions.
Download the x86 and x64 versions (not the ARM version) of the 2022 runtimes from Microsoft:

Install the runtimes, restart your computer, and try to play.
