I have a physical copy of the sims 2 base game which I bought years ago, I have tried putting the serial code into origin but every time I do it says its already been used. Is there any way I am able to get a new code? I understand that they stopped giving out the ultimate collection codes which I sadly missed out on.

A code is affiliated to the first Origin account on which it has been registered. So It is necessarily on this account and could not be used by anyone else.

If it's an occasion an used game you can't reuse the code.
If you have buy the game elsewhere than Origin you do contact the seller for this problem.
If you buy on Origin or a new physical version, contact EA assistance they can help you in live to find your game.

@hayleymariew03 , did you register your game when you originally purchased the disk? That could be one answer for you.
To be honest with you, there really is no point in trying to obtain a new code or to register it on Origin as EA no longer gives out digital copies of the game any more. The game is not available in a digital format to my knowledge for the Windows OS. If you want to install the play game on your computer, you can do so as long as you have a disk drive. If your computer does not have a disk drive, you can buy an external one and they are not very expensive.
