Sims 2 downloading and playing on two different computers

Hi, 

My and my sister want to buy the Sims 2 pack but we have never used origin or any other app. 
Do you know if we can create just one account and buy the sims there and then download and play on two different computers at the same time? 

Also, is it possible then to play the sims 2 offline?
