Sims 2 University Life Collection and Sims 2 Fun With Pets Collection not working

Hi there!About a year ago I bought 'Sims 2 Fun With Pets Collection' and 'Sims 2 University Life Collection' off Origin, downloaded and installed them both. They worked fine and registered.I just bought a new laptop, and they have both downloaded but when I click play on either one they do not register! It just loads Sims 2 but not the expansions...I really hope you can help me... Thanks in advance.

Do you have your base game on Origin too? Usually Origin installs games to this folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games

If you have the base game on disc, please do not install to the default folder that it suggests during the installation. Install it to&nbsp;C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 2&nbsp;instead. This way Origin will "recognise" that you have the base game installed.
