Sims 2 Visual Glitch - Lines through house?

Hi everyone. I'm not quite sure how to describe this properly so I think its better if I just show you. I just moved my sims from an apartment into a multi story home, and now I have this weird glitch which I can best describe as lines coming through my house? Any suggestions on how to fix this? I think I remember this being an issue for me when I played Sims 2 many years ago so Im not sure if this is a common issue or what. Thanks for any help

    @Alexandroonie That looks like the ceiling to me, see if untoggling it works. Click on the Ceiling button (below Floor Up/Down buttons, above the funds indicator), and see if that hides the line.
