Reclaiming old Sims CD keys?
I recently went through and packed up my collection of physical boxed games, which includes The Sims 1-3 and most of the DLCs and Stuff Packs. I was wondering if there's any way I can download these digitally using the CD keys/product codes for the games I already own, rather than having to re-buy digital download versions to be able to play them again? I tried redeeming the keys through The Sims website but most of them came back as invalid. Is there some other way I can reclaim them? I don't have a CD/DVD drive in my PC anymore but my retail keys are all legal and valid and I'd love to be able to revisit the older Sims games again if possible. Thanks in advance!
Sims 3 codes you can redeem through the EA app no problem usually if you do encounter any issues you would have to reach out to support. As for the sims 1 and sims 2 those cannot be redeemed. You used to be able to redeem sims 2 codes, but there was a lot of issues and after a lot of complaints they released the ultimate edition for free for everyone but I believe it is no longer redeemable but you can look up the code online and find out for yourself, but I imagine since the legacy collection is now out they probably disabled it. Sims 1 until the legacy collection came out, never had an official downloadable version or at least not one through EA/Origin.
