Sims 4 Kits vs Sims 3 Store: Which one did it better and why?

Plumbella did an interesting Video, where she compared the Sims 3 Store with the Sims 4 Kits. Both of them give you more customization options for your playstyle. So what do you think? Who wins

I like the Kits better. The store was way overpriced and imo virtually impossible to get all the items, because it was so expensive.
