Sims 5 is Internet-Only, Cloud-Based Subscription Game?

I was just listening to a YouTuber talking about how she thinks the sims 5 is going to be cross platform, a cloud game and most likely will be a subscription service. I sure hope not. I don’t mind buying Deluxe content,……. But I don’t like the idea of not actually owning the game. I sure hope they don’t go that way. I stopped playing sims FreePlay and bought the sims 4 because I wanted a game I could own and control. They had made it where you had to spend money to stop aging, or go through some big hassle to stop it. If this happens, I may decide not to get it. That is too bad too because I was so looking forward to the sims 5 coming out in a few years.

So what do you all think the sims 5 is going to be? And do you like the idea?
