Sims 5 Question

Does anyone still think the sims 5 might still come? cause its like a new year? sims 2 came out doing 2022, sims 3 came out doing 2023, and sims 4 came out doing 2024?

There won't actually be a Sims 5 because EA is going to 'disrupt the sequel model' by shoving The Sims 4, Project Rene, and two other games into one 'massive Sims platform' | PC Gamer

I sincerely doubt this "new project" plan will workout. Morph TS4 into a new multiverse ? Not sure its even doable.
