Sims 5 Question

Rene is basically a mobile, multi-player companion to sims 4.

I hope not. Sims 4 has been getting overhauled with tons of bug fixes. I won't buy everything all over again. I'm not alone in this. I know some people got upset when maxis daid this, but part of why they said this is because so many of us just want to keep playing sims 4. I won't play rene because multi-player sims? No thank you.

I just want to see the school bus cause sims 1 had it sims 2 had it and sims 3 had it but not sims 4 sadly?…

Similar feelings here. I still enjoy sims 4 but just adding more and more can't go on indefinitely. At some point we need a new reboot. Whatever project Renee is going to be, so far it looks like a mobile game, not a main sims title. Of course it's still early to tell for sure. I hope at some point we can get a new single player sandbox type of sims game for pc. 

I haven't touched Sims  4 since 2019. This really is a disaster. I was hoping for a hard reset on the franchise with Sims 5. And I haven't been liking what I've seen of Project Rene.

I sincerely doubt this "new project" plan will workout. Morph TS4 into a new multiverse ? Not sure its even doable.

The Sims 4 (2014) is a live service like The Sims FreePlay (2011) and Star Wars : The Old Republic (2011).

So no new game will be planned, the idea of EA is about maintaining these games as long as they make profits same as Blizzard with World Of Warcraft (2004).

I have an idea when I play sims 4, I want like more alien/space stuff like well now there's a magical fairy world I think they should make a world of space with the moon and planets and alien houses and stuff like that I don't know if anyone else would like it though and understand that they have to do what the majority likes.

I mean I'm sure there will be a sims 5, but probably with a different name, start of some new life sim. They can't just continue to make sims4 packs forever, the game is already falling apart from all the bugs.
