sims castaway stories needs permission to launch
I've been contacting EA about this issue for months with them not being able to offer any solution. Every time I try to launch Sims Castaway Stories the error "In order to launch this game, please login to the EA Link to verify your ownership, then try again." pops up. I'm not sure what to do since the game worked until it suddenly didn't.
@ajinsz I also experienced this error with The Sims Pet Stories and The Sims Castaway Stories a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, I don't know the exact way to fix it because I did a bunch of random things until something stuck.
However, one of the things I remember doing was logging into Pogo using my EA login. For whatever reason, I had to make a Pogo account when I was registering old Sims 2 games almost a decade ago, so maybe that had something to do with the error. Try logging in there, and see if you can launch Castaway Stories.
