sims medieval not launching

anyone else having the issue where they download the sims medieval right from ea, but when they click on the game IN THE EA APP it just... doesnt start?

ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game three times. ive gone directly into the games folder and clicked on the games launcher thing but when i did it told meto uninstall and reinstall again. which i did. three times.
