Sims Medieval not showing as owned with new computer, but still showing as "My G

I bought the game back when it came out in disc form. I previously registered it with my Origins/EA Launcher several years ago on an older laptop if I recall correctly. I have been trying to play it on my new laptop and it won't allow me to play! It allows me to download the game and try to launch it but fails to launch. I have tried relinking the code on the sims3 website and it is saying invalid code (I assume because I already redeemed it with this account).

Any fixes for this issue? To clarify I am able to download and hit play on the game in the EA launcher and it is showing as one of my games, however, it will not launch and does have the purchase option listed even after downloading.
