Sims Medieval on Windows 10-Background process

I'm very confused on why I'm not able to play the Sims Medieval on Windows 10 no matter what I do. I registered my physical copy on origin and uninstalled/reinstalled the game, I tried running from TSM.exe, and still nothing works. Please help, this game is an old favorite of mine and it was working a few months ago. It still remains to run as a background process through all of these attempts.

  • Hi @dennisknapik,

If you haven't done it already, please, finish the process. Also, close Origin completely (Origin > Close) and then open it again, right clicking on the Origin shortcut in your desktop and selecting 'Run as administrator'.

Try to open the game through Origin again. Is it working now? 🙂

  • I'm also having this issue. I can't even open it in Origin because Origin won't accept verification code. When I input the code Origin tells me I can't redeem the game code through the application (even though it recognizes the game and the code) and reroutes me to https://store.thesims3.com/myAccount.html . I try to put in my code there but that site tells me it's invalid because it only accepts 16-digit codes and my codes for The Sims Medieval and Pirates and Nobles are 20-digits each.
