Sims Medieval Removed from Library
Earlier today I loaded up The Sims Medieval and played for several hours with no issues. The game was already installed (I own CD copies of The Sims Medieval: Limited Edition and the Pirates & Nobles expansion, which I installed back when the EA App was Origin, and all of which worked fine). I loaded up the game with no issues when I double clicked the desktop icon. I closed and reopened the game several times in the course of the afternoon, and all ran perfectly.
However, when I returned after dinner and tried to reopen exactly as I had before, I got this message in the EA App:
You don't have access
This title may have been downloaded to you device by another user who owns the game. Log in to a different account or restart the app to try again.
No one else has access to my computer, and I have only the one account (that has been logged in this whole time).
- I have tried restarting the app.
- I have tried clearing the cache following instructions on Answers HQ.
- I have even tried following instructions to enter the CD code on sims3.com and the Sims 3 store website.
NONE of this has worked.
I also have a message in my EA App that says:
! Games have been removed from our library. View details for more information.
However, when I click on details, there is NOTHING there! I have attached a screenshot showing the total lack of details or information.
I am incredibly angry and frustrated that this game - which has been paid for, which I was in the middle of playing - has suddenly been REMOVED from my library and I'm no longer able to play it.
I would appreciate a solution that doesn't ask me to repeat steps I have already tried.
