Sims medieval service initialization failed (0x0175d824)

I downloaded The Sims Medieval from the EA app but it won't open and keeps giving me "service initialization failed (0x0175d824)" error every time I try to launch. 

I've already tried:

• Changing resolution in options.ini
• Using alder lake patch
• Repairing through EA App
• Uninstalling and reinstalling
• Deleting TSM folder after uninstalling and then reinstalling again
• Using PowerShell to launch
• Changing in task manager to only use one CPU 
• Running as administrator

I have a 12th gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1235U, Windows 11, and I use an Intel graphics card on my laptop.

I don't know much about computers so if any more info is needed please let know! I hope someone has a solution, it's so frustrating that I've spent money on it just for it not to work right out of the box. ☹️ Any help is appreciated, thank you! This feels practically hopeless.
