Sims medieval: Service initialization failed (0x039e8474)

I just bought the game through origins.

Im using a macbook air.

I cant start the game because i get that error pop up. (Service initialization failed (0x039e8474)

Anyone know a solution for this.

I was having this exact same issue. Talked to EA Help and got it to work! Just follow these steps:

Was able to fix it by first uninstalling the game, updating origin, installing the game, removing origin from in game, quittin origin, opening origin again, repairing game, updating game and then it worked
