sims2 please help me

i have 2 problems 1- my vampire is stuck i thought that i would buy an apartment building thereby having income from the rentals, i changed the building to community to purchase then changed back to rental but could not do that with being on lot so went, change back to rent apartments but can not get my vampire back, can see his car parked in frount of the building

2- a couple are stuck in their hotel on vacation i tried to add some things while they were on vacation and now the hotel is stuck in build mode
