Steam: TS1 Crash when throwing parties all the sudden

I am bummed as I haven't had any crashing issues until today. When my sims throw a party it crashes, i have been able to throw parties before no problem so IDK what happened. I do have a few mods but those were working fine yesterday but now it is crashing! Was there an update?

It also tends to crash when I am playing triple speed.
