The Sims™ Legacy Collection scaling issue (tiny UI) with 1080p displays only

I am suffering from 1080p's tiny in-game UI, tiny map, tiny create-sim aswell.

I feel the same way! The UI panels are just too small they look even smaller than standard ones from The Sims Complete Collection (with and without HD patch). How is that even possible? It was supposed to became larger for larger Screens, not smaller!!

Unfortunately this 1080p UI scaling issue remains unresolved in the latest patch #3.
Additionally, the '-maxaspect: 4:3' launch option does absolutely nothing on my system @ 1080p (aka it does not change the aspect ratio at all).

EA_SolaireCan we please get a fix for this for the next patch or at least a confirmation that it's getting investigated? It's very weird that only *one* resolution just doesn't scale properly, and even more such a common one as 1080p. Thank you so much in advance :D

EA_Solaireplease tell if the team already knows about this 😇 we are trying to raise the awareness of this for like 2 weeks in different social media and it starts to look like this problem with the most common resolution is purposely ignored 

I've been having the same issue. All my drivers are up to date. Please let us know when you're going to fix this  issue.

Just  fix it already, EA!

It boggles my mind that EA are somehow unable to realise nor acknowledge the issue with this game when running at 1080p native desktop resolution, and the effect it has on the UI scaling and the maximum level of zoom into the game engine.

I'm not sure how else to demonstrate the issue EA? Seriously? 😠

The Sims are almost as old as I am, played it as child the second it released back then and still have all the Sims CD's, but since they are a hassle to install properly I decided to invest and buy the game again. Started it, saw the tiny sims, the tiny house and map and immediately filed for refund. My loyality stops when I have to squint or search for my magnifying glass...why are games released without testing them for the most basic functions?
