Hello, all simmers! I wanted to create a new topic on what sims 5 " Project Rene" should have included. Feel free to state your ideas!
Sims 5 should have:
- no loading screens between neighbourhoods
- cars/bicycles that work
- More pets with more interactions ( hamsters don't just stay in the cage, can roam the house, snakes, birds, reptiles, monkeys that can sit on sim shoulders, horses, carriages.
- No more sims strangers joining a conversation between playable sims
- Height sliders
-More animations, more romantic interactions and maybe unlocked secrets interactions
- Make it harder for sims to become lovers just like in TS2 and TS1
- Sims can have different friendship bars and romance bars, for example, one sim can like a sim and the other can hate the sim; sim 1 likes sim 2 but sim 2 dislikes sim 1
- No more using the sink in the bathroom to wash dishes
- teenagers look like teenagers
- sims should have more life stages. infant, baby, toddler, child, pre-teen, teen, young adult, adult, elder
- Halloween, trick or treat, costumes, Christmas etc
- Mosques and churches, sims should introduce a religion that we can pick in make-a-sim. For example, a Muslim sim cannot have an intimate relationship before marriage sims should have more "self-rules"
- Arranged marriages not based on romance but family reasons, sims can ask family for a " hand in marriage"
- Abortions and being able to put a baby up for adoption
- Risky woohoo
- Not every sim should get happy about being pregnant, make us choose how the sims feel about it
- Teen and adult romance. Let's be real how many of you wanted your teen to have an adult BF/GF?
- Teen pregnancies, it would make sense since most birth rates are from teens
- If a teen got pregnant parents can choose whether to support, accept or be mad
- More career options
- No more rabbit holes, please EA
- More professions such as hairdresser, spa, firefighter, and singer like TS3
- Option to choose the sim's sexuality in create-a-sim like Gay/lesbian/bi and straight. If one sim is straight and the other is gay, the straight sim will refuse any romantic interactions
- Sims can own a shop and run the shop such as a clothing shop a coffee shop a restaurant, a grocery store etc
- Vacation destinations, china, Paris, India, the middle east, Tokyo, islands, resorts etc
- Like TS3, be able to own and build your resort, club, lounge, park etc
- Acting career, with no rabbit holes, actually be able to interact and become a celebrity
- Small interactions add a huge amount of realism to the game and there are many that we miss. Who would like to see the return of cuddling in bed for instance?
- Dating preferences.
I have a lot more to include but I don't want to make this too long. Thanks for reading! What would you like to see in sims 5?
Hi @Nan22fly
I agree with everything you have said, and I would add more things:
That the sims can have disabilities or difficulties (this is an idea taken from another person in this forum) and have objects like wheelchairs for example.
That the fights are more realistic (I know it's not a nice idea but it's ridiculous that they fight twenty times and the only thing that happens is that the enmity bar increases). They would have to get hurt and exhausted after a fight. And their physique and athletic abilities should influence the final result (i.e. a muscular person should win over a weak one).
More realism in the professions (i.e. a politician should not be mayor and president in the same place, in sims 3 you are the "leader of the free world" in the same place where you are mayor and that makes no sense).
About the previous point, if a Sim becomes President he can make certain decisions and when people see him in the street they have the reaction they would have in real life when they have the president of their country in front of them. And also that when there is a meeting in the street, it should be a formal and organized act, not a guy who puts a lectern and starts to speak while the others pass him by.
That in the gym materials in addition to punching bags there is also a ring and they can do fights.
About what you were saying about the cars, instead of being like in The Sims 3 that you simply put them in your farm and that's it, that there is a dealer in each city to buy them there, and that they can make basic modifications (change the paint and the wheels). Also in this section that you can be fined and even take away the car for committing infractions.
That the sims can walk their babies in a baby carriage.
That there is an amusement park.
That there be a municipal swimming pool.
That there be neighborhood assemblies in the buildings.
That there is a hospital in case the sims suffer for example burns (another interesting point, in sims 4 they either die in the fire or they simply get stained with ashes, which can be fixed with a shower). Here it shouldn't be like that, there should be a middle ground where they don't die but also get out perfectly, but they have wounds that heal in the hospital.
Let the life expectancy not be the same for all sims but vary depending on their good or bad habits. And that there is a playable graveyard with two or three actions.
That the sims can also use the microphone to sing and can record and publish those songs. In sims 4 they can only use the mic to tell jokes.
That there be police and that they can be called in conflicts between neighbors or in robberies (something that currently there is not in the game either). And that you can be the thief and end up in jail.
That the houses have different types of breakdowns and that different types of professionals fix them (for example the light goes out and an electrician comes, the pipe breaks and the plumber comes) and that your sims can exercise those professions.
That the social services deny you an adoption if your house does not meet the health conditions.
And that's all I would add. But come on, I am aware that it is too much and almost impossible that they are going to put all these things, or at least in the next installment.
