Just adding my thoughts!
- - no loading screens between neighbourhoods
- - cars/bicycles that work
- - More pets with more interactions ( hamsters don't just stay in the cage, can roam the house, snakes, birds, reptiles, monkeys that can sit on sim shoulders, horses, carriages.
Hell yeah. Though monkeys maybe too complicated.
- - No more sims strangers joining a conversation between playable sims
Maybe as a toggle option, but I think that's pretty realistic.
- - Height sliders
The main issue with different heights is getting the animations to match. Unless you want to see a sim "kissing" someone's forehead due to being short?
- -More animations, more romantic interactions and maybe unlocked secrets interactions
- - Make it harder for sims to become lovers just like in TS2 and TS1
Yes and yes
- - Sims can have different friendship bars and romance bars, for example, one sim can like a sim and the other can hate the sim; sim 1 likes sim 2 but sim 2 dislikes sim 1
Always wanted this. kinda works using cheats but not properly.
- - No more using the sink in the bathroom to wash dishes
Or brushing the teeth in the kitchen!!
- - teenagers look like teenagers
Agreed. Though it is more work for cc creators.
- - sims should have more life stages. infant, baby, toddler, child, pre-teen, teen, young adult, adult, elder
Possibly making it too complicated but I do like this idea.
- - Halloween, trick or treat, costumes, Christmas etc
- - Mosques and churches, sims should introduce a religion that we can pick in make-a-sim. For example, a Muslim sim cannot have an intimate relationship before marriage sims should have more "self-rules"
Such costumes can be added via CC, you can build what you need, and also choose your own rules. I'm not sure if religion will fit with the sims.
- - Arranged marriages not based on romance but family reasons, sims can ask family for a " hand in marriage"
Like this idea.
- - Abortions and being able to put a baby up for adoption
- - Risky woohoo
- - Not every sim should get happy about being pregnant, make us choose how the sims feel about it
- - Teen and adult romance. Let's be real how many of you wanted your teen to have an adult BF/GF?
- - Teen pregnancies, it would make sense since most birth rates are from teens
- - If a teen got pregnant parents can choose whether to support, accept or be mad
A lot of these options were added with CC or mods. I think they'd be too much for the sims to add officially though. Not to mention adult and child would be illegal... It could affect the age rating of the game. I don't mind these scenarios though.
- - More career options
- - No more rabbit holes, please EA
- - More professions such as hairdresser, spa, firefighter, and singer like TS3
Yes yes and yes.
- - Option to choose the sim's sexuality in create-a-sim like Gay/lesbian/bi and straight. If one sim is straight and the other is gay, the straight sim will refuse any romantic interactions
Sims already have a gender preference setting I believe. You can set between male and female, between -100% and 100%. Just that it's internal rather than being chosen. You can edit it with mods though. I think that'd be easy to add though.
- - Sims can own a shop and run the shop such as a clothing shop a coffee shop a restaurant, a grocery store etc
- - Vacation destinations, china, Paris, India, the middle east, Tokyo, islands, resorts etc
- - Like TS3, be able to own and build your resort, club, lounge, park etc
- - Acting career, with no rabbit holes, actually be able to interact and become a celebrity
Agreed. I hated owning a restaurant and not even being able to do anything when I was there. More destinations would also be great, or let us create our own destinations.
- - Small interactions add a huge amount of realism to the game and there are many that we miss. Who would like to see the return of cuddling in bed for instance?
- - Dating preferences.
Yes. Also I think dating preferences falls under sexuality above.
- SuperNTG3 years agoSeasoned Adventurer@y34827d6j9c7 Just curious. No one has said anything about pure autonomy. Is this something that people want?
- 2 years ago@SuperNTG Personally, I am not attracted to the style of play you propose based on total autonomy. But obviously I am not going to speak on behalf of the whole community as I am just another individual, and I understand that it depends on your style of play. Whoever likes to play mainly building and designing interiors may find it interesting.
