suggestion/ideas that sims 5 should include in the game

I would love for EA to reboot Sims 3.  EVERTHING the same,  but with a fresh lick of paint and better support.

To me that was the pinnacle of EA design.  So much variety, free choice, heaps of creativity, open world, cast, CAP, create a world, user made patterns, great "customisable" social community web pages.  Also, the sims 3 store page was awesome.  Pick and choice what you like or gift items to friends. 

Huh, maybe that's me dreaming of the halcyon days, but EA gave us the sun, moon and the stars, then violently ripped all that from Sims 4 and all that was left was..... dust.  

There's definitely some nice ideas. But it also includes many features that are already present in TS4,  some are base game features others are pack features

You can totally  build clubs, lounges and vacation rentals. 

You can build and own a shop with the Get To Work extension. 

You can become an actor (non-rabbithole) and a celebrity with the Get Famous extension

It would be nice to differentiate between those ideas that revolve around bugs (i.e. sink issues) and those that are about improvement of the game in terms of functionality and design, objects, etc. And to also differentiate between improvements for the different expansion pack. 

Also, teens do not make the highest number of birth rates. I don't know who told you this but teen birth rates have been declining globally for a long time. 

Coming to the ideas, there are some I really like. like, independent relationship bars. It makes total sense that just because SIm1 loves Sim2, they might not love them back.

Abortion should definitely be in, adoption is already (although I'd like to have more control over that - more immersive game play for it, and actually have kids have an adopted buff with relationship buff for the bio parents too. 

Dating preferences should definitely base game and include more than gender options. Have sims be attracted to certain features or traits. Definitely would add more realism. 

There's some ideas that I unfortunately disagree with. I really don't need three different pre-kid stages. Infant and toddler is enough already. The infant stage could just be different and should allow for more actions. I agree that pre-teen might be a good idea. 

Teens and adult relationships are a difficult and should not be in the game. it's illegal. It will be abused and it has no place in the game. 

Religion has always been a difficult topic. I do think that there should be more representation when it comes to clothing, food, events and objects that resemble religion. But for chosing religion, it will be a constant fight about what is appropriate or not, because even within one religion, people have different views. If at all, there should be sims religions and chosing to believe in something higher with certain interactions. But I can see why implementing real religions into the game is not going to happen. 
I also actually do like sending sims to rabbit holes, let me play with half the fam at home while the other is out shopping.

WORLDS:

MORE WORLD VARIETY
There's still a lot of commonality among worlds. Sure we have some diversity, but definitely not enough. And most of those 'western' worlds, are still very American small town vibe. 

TRAVELING

Depending on what worlds will be like, I want to travel across the entire world (even if I cannot access all lots). In TS4, a different neighborhood is basically a different world just in the same design with the addition that a click can take you right to the map menu. But other than that - it's another screen that disrupts game flow. 

TASKS
Quests, tasks or mini aspirations you can unlock by talking to people in the world or interacting with certain objects. Like, there's an evil sim who needs help mugging people. Or a good sim that wants to collect money for a good cause. Talking to a certain tree would unlock a quest or aspirations to care for plants. 
Rabbit-hole interactions as in TS4. I loved to have a sim take a tour somewhere and gain some points while I can take care of other sims. 

STREET NAMES

I want TS5 lots to have addresses that do not change. Lots can have an additional name. 

POLITICS and CITY FUNDING
becoming president of a world should allow you to set some rules for the world (similar to NAPs) but It would be nice to change tax rates etc. Certain lots could depend on community funds and you'd be limited by them. You could also decide to add a playground or things to the playground. 

STRUCTURES:

Overall, structures - like careers, aspirations, fame system etc should allow for more variety over time. Especially for long time players, there's too much repetition

CAREERS:
more variety - and more companies. Sims careers get very repetitive after some time. I have an idea an this that I'm thinking to write as it's own post. There should be an application process and you should be able to apply to higher positions. Relationships to the company should help your application - bad relations should disrupt. Companies should be able to compete and have several branches, but several companies will have similar branches. And not all careers need to be 10 levels. Each company should also have a building in at least one of the worlds. 

ASPIRATIONS:
Sims should have a set of aspirations for different themes. Like: you have aspirations for your career

EVENT/DATE goals
also too repetitive, always the same and cannot be changed

FAME SYSTEM (GET FAMOUS)
still very repetitive over time and don't necessarily make sense. Higher level benefits should not all be dependent on specific lover level benefits. There should be more social benefits 

LAST NAMES and MAIDEN NAMES

I find it terrible that we cannot see a sims maiden name (if they changed their name after marriage). I also don't want sims to automatically change their name to their husbands. Names could also be added like it is common in some cultures. 

HOUSEHOLD FONDS

It would be nice if Sims can go into debt and pay it off. Ask for a loan to buy a house and then start paying it off. An option to save money (even just a piggy bank for kids would be nice too). 

SKILLS
certain skills should be grouped together (e.g. musical skills) they are still learned independently, but might help each other. Also better interactions for media production dj (pack related). But it would be nice to use my instruments to record a song. 

UI

We have way too much whitespace for some interfaces. Those the needs interface really need to take up that much space? Like, I'd love to not even have text there, I know what needs icon mean and where they are. Especially for those playing on smaller devices - it would help so much. Transparency of those windows would also be nice. 

KEYBOARD BINDINGS:
improved keyboard interactions. TS5 needs better key bindings and more key bindings.  E.g. pressing shift to keep the pie menu visible after you clicked on an interaction. ALL navigation keys on the left side of the keybaord, not just on the numpad. Many don't even have one and given that you can use the center of the keyboard too, it's not that user friendly. Keys in BB should not be assigned by first letter, but according to usability. And keyboard bindings should be adjustable for personal likings.

HOUSEHOLD MANAGER

more sorting and filter functions that allow to look for households of a certain size, household funds, careers of sims, age etc. . A search function would be nice too.

And show more info in the household manager: I want to know what kind of jobs they have and at what level. 

OVERALL MANAGER

for careers, npc etc. It would be nice if we could see who works at which company. 

I could do with less stuff like religion.  Give me the simplicity of Sims 2 and Sims 4 with Sims intelligent enough to take care of themselves fully.  You give me a couple big cities, lots of items and choices, let me make them and then let them live however they want based on interests, traits, etc.

I would like to hear from the creators to see what they think of this idea.  Sims 4 feels like it is close to this but then why can't my Sim go to the bathroom without me telling him to.  Let he or she do what they want and I just want to watch them grow as a person.  Let them find a partner and take care of their kids, and grow in their job.  Let me just build the house and give them things that they need.  I could build businesses, apartments, houses, parks, etc.  And watch them use it to get ahead in life.  Basically, SimCity but much more in depth like Sims 4.  I do not need all that extra stuff like 8 toddler stages or whatever.  The game has plenty of great features already.  Expand on the intelligence of the Sim I create.  It is that simple

Sims 5 should have more free roaming and buildings you can enter, nothing should be locked or out of bounds. More like a Fortnite approach! 

I want the ability  to have multiple jobs and I reckon more choices of things to do across homes and stores activities etc. They could make the game amazing with enough effort put in.

I agree with you.I don’t know if anyone else already mentioned this but a very simple thing that would make a lot of difference is interaction with windows. 
i would love to see the Sims opening the windows to freshen up the house. Or just to look at the sky having deep thoughts when sad, make the curtains move with the breeze coming in. These things would brighten up gameplay.

My suggestion is based on a personal analysis of why I liked a pack more than the others - and that is the Sims 2 Castaway on PS2 - what I most liked about it was the mystery and the exploration of new elements and places that are essential for the progression of the game. (For those who haven't played it, your sim lands on an island and he has to survive by finding food to eat and stay alive, befriending animals to raise the social needs, find wood and other elements of the jungle to make a hut, fire, clothes.. ) It is true that the Sims game is a life simulation of our real world, but we are already living the boring everyday life, so I'd like to see in the new sims more mystery and adventures, a more important link between skills and needs for survival. I liked the idea of starting everything from scratch, it is the real rags to riches challenge. Let's make skills really essential for the survival of our sim, let's make use of aliens, let's make a more interesting story, maybe the aliens abducted our sim and threw him in another dimension, another timeline, maybe back where there wasn't anyone alive, he has to start life on earth or even another planet, this sim or a group of sims have to start a life, a community, a city of their own.. maybe the aliens threw him in the future, in a post apocalyptic world, so he has to start again, maybe he finds other people if it's going to be a multi player game, maybe their jobs or skills can be important for the survival of the group, like a doctor, a gardener, a scientist.. And most of all what I really really want is a first person view, and the ability to move the sims freely, make them walk, run, jump, crouch, climb.. drive cars, bikes, even maybe construct a vehicle to move from one land to another, maybe be able to fly a helicopter or a plane.. maybe a scientist finds himself alone in the world, he clones himself or creates other humans.. Let's make the game more dangerous, maybe make wild dangerous animals that they can befriend or declare ennemy. Maybe there's a mystery that we have to unravel to go back to the present, maybe dig and find jems to place them back at the temple, to gain power or skills or for whatever reason.. I have a lot of ideas and these are some of them that I really like to see in the game, and if there is a way I can get in touch with the creators I'd really like to know how.

3. When cleaning be able to vacuum &/or mop instead of just mop
4. No washing dishes in bathroom unless that is the only sink
5. Travel
6. Height Slider
7. Have more age stages to choose from (baby, toddler, child/kid, pre teen, teenager, YA, Adult & Elder)
8. Operational Daycare(s)
9. Elementary, Middle School, High School, & College (Trade/Tech school & 4yr)
10. Running your own shops (food, clothing, etc.)
11. Sims actually walk to and get into cars like sims 2--even get onto bikes instead of just appearing
12. Parents be able to take children to school & daycare instead of always getting on the bus
13. Have live in nanny
14. No Rabbit Hole Jobs (Hospital, Business Office, Police Station etc)
15. More Realistic Jobs
16. Singing/Acting/Professional Sports/Military
17. Facial Hair for teens
18. Can put children babies up for adoption
19. Risky Woohoo
20. Teen Pregnancies
21. Abortions
22. Choose whether sims (Female & Male) are happy about pregnancy or not
23. Pet Store To Buy Different Pets (Reptiles, Birds, Rodents, Cats, Dogs & Fish)
24. Seasons (but can control the intensity/type ex. winters-south,north, mid west etc.)
