Project Rene has evolved into a social, collaborative, mobile-first life-sim game.
So they decided to sunset The Sims Mobile to continue production on... another mobile game. 🙃

The Sims Mobile didn't have the social component. I like the bits I saw about the world, hope they make it interesting.
Would you have wanted a social component for The Sims Mobile? Would that have made it any more successful? I don't think it would have made any difference.
I wish the developers would just stop beating a dead horse already.
I didn't play Sims Mobile enough and didn't like the game mechanics and the small screen, don't think a social component would have made much difference for me. But there have been many simmers asking for multiplayer and a social component to the game and I'd rather they add it to a separate mobile game than the main single player game.
