The future of the Sims

Reading the blog post is says they were making new games or basically no more one linear game.Meaning I think we're going to have bunch of different sims games for all sorts of players.

They might reboot mysims or make better

A more complex basegame they might make something like the sims 3 in the future.

sigh....... I want something new too. The game is fun (sims 4) until the bugs takeover.

A fresh start would be nice starting with a new game.🙂🙄

I really miss the sims 2 and 3 controller controls where I could walk my sims around like in any open world game

  • Honestly I don't feel confident about Project Rene and Project Stories.

Asking to Maxis to do Multiplayer game and Mobile game is like asking to BioWare to do a Destiny-like game.  It didn't end well for BioWare's Anthem.

Generally, a studio already has a hard time doing what they're good at, so it's never a good idea to give them an even harder task to complete.

Let's see what InZoi can do with this (new) genre of gaming that they are exploring.

I hope the game is a success and I can't wait but I will watch first before investing.

    edit: shizz.

  • MySims isn't really what the players want, EA should focus on "The Sims"

This is how I feel about feedback in the forums.

It's one thing to ask for fixes or refreshing which I think feedback should be about.

Asking the team to go deep into an already buggy base and add DLC that is not part of the base is more like complaing about a 10+ year old game that you are bored with.

I own a lot of DLC in this game and I'm still exploring all of it.

I'm not interested in adding new DLC to the base unless it's compatible with existing DLC. It's that simple for me.

I don't want a whole bunch of cluttered DLC in my game that is buggy. 🩵💓🤎

  • Attracting new players is what I see in EA...

I feel like player history is lost and knowledge of older sims series is archived.

Unfortunately and Fortunately it's all connected.

The game as we know it cannot exist without the past.
