The Sims 1 Legacy fails to work properly on AMD graphics cards

Me and a lot of people who have AMD GPU's are reporting MAJOR performance drops into the low 10's in frames when more than 3 Sims are on a lot, or more apparent in a Community lot, I hope this issue ...

I have exactly the same problem, even if I change the scaling, as soon as sims are in the picture, the FPS collapses. Also AMD graphics card.
