The Sims 2 always installs in PTBR even after uninstalling

Hello!

So, I had to uninstall the game. When I installed back, even though I chose PT-PT, it installed in PT-BR. I tried uninstalling and installing again a couple more times, even choosing English, but it always installs in PT-BR. What am I doing wrong? How can I solve this?
