The sims 2 installation code doesn't work

Hi everyonei found my old cds of The Sims 2 and i want to install it on my pc, the cd worked but the code that i have behind the catalog doesn't work.It says "You have entered an invalid code. Please check that you entered the code correctly and included all spaces".i don't make mistakes and that code always worked before so i don't know what to do.Thanks you for your help

@Blaigan8&nbsp;, I know that you can no longer register Sims 2 using the original codes as the link is invalid. What exactly happens when you try to install the game and register the code besides the error message?

@Tremayne4260, When i put the cd in my pc, i get a notification for the installation, i click on it and then i first need to choose my language, and just after i need to write the code, even if i don't make mistakes with the code i get :
"You have entered an invalid code. Please check that you entered the code correctly and included all spaces"
