The Sims 2 Legacy: Compressed Voices, Endless Burning Trees, Date/School Issues
When the Sims speak, their voices sound strange, as if they are lisping. All other sounds work without any issues, but this problem only affects the Sims themselves when they are talking. Occasionally, a cracking sound also occurs.
Another issue arises when a tree catches fire, such as from a lightning strike. Although the tree appears to be burning, it cannot be extinguished because it is already considered deleted in the game itself.
Another issue occurs when you call a Sim to arrange a date. Shortly afterward, the Sim remarks why you weren't present or why you left them waiting, even though you just started the date, the location was just chosen, and the taxi had only just arrived. The same issue occurs with the private school director: He appears at 5 PM but immediately disappears with the comment that he thinks my children aren't suitable for the private school, even though he just arrived.
The issue with the date and private school can be fixed with a mod that resolves timing problems.
