The sims 2 low on disk space
I am trying to launch The SIms 2 Ultimate Collection from Origin. Unofrtuanately there is ann error when launching the game and a window pops-up stating: "You are running low on disk space and may encounter problems with your hame under these conditions. Are you sure you want to launch the hame?" I can press Yes and proceed into the game, but the game won't save progress, or any setting I changed, so everything resets every time I run the game. I have searched and tried every recoommended sollution throughout the internet, including the popular regedit solution:https://answers.ea.com/t5/Other-The-Sims-Games/Sims-2-Ultimate-Collection-Low-Disc-Space/m-p/3191028/highlight/true#M4554 , even every related youtube video and I still cannot make it work. I know that there is a bunch of people playing the Sims 2 in 2022, but it seems that they didn't have this problem, or that they have found a solution. I have tried installing and executing the game on three different coputers, a relatively old desktop PC with windows 10, a 4 year old laptop with Windows 10 and a brand-new laptop with Windows 11. The problem is the same on all three computers.
Update: YES, I figured out myself that it affects the game. I just unlinked the Documents folder, where gamesaves are stored, from OneDrive and it worked like magic. For people that faced the same problem and aren't sure about how to unlink the folder, I followed these instrucitons: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/unlink-my-documents-folder-from-onedrive/21edbce4-a38e-489b-8aab-608f0f4ee506. Thank you mate54 for the quick reply. I can't believe that it finally was that simple!
