If you're looking for a refund, you would also want to contact support at http://help.ea.com/contact-us . I don't believe you can request assistance with refunds on the forums. You need someone who can help you with your account. 🙂
You could also check out retailers for The Sims 2. I prefer to purchase from the Origin store, but I have friends who purchase at lots of other places as well.
