The Sims 2 Serial Code Wont be accepted.
I've recently purchase the sims 2 double deluxe and the serial code doesn't seem to work for the game
and obviously i can't play it without the code
is there anyway of getting a new one?

I think you should just do a Live chat with EA and they will probably give you a new one, I am actually having the same problem and Im in the live chat right now 🙂
