[The Sims 2] sims 2 on Windows 7

earlier this year I had a virus that sent my computer to the shop for a full windows re-install. I'm trying to re-install my Sims 2 game but it won't work past 76% (disk 3). I have windows 7.

I have 3 expansion packs in addition to the base game and will be quite upset if all that money is gone to waste due to now having Windows 7. Can someone please tell me if there is a patch or something to help me get my game onto my machine? Thank you!

p.s. I couldn't find the Sims 2 listed among the Products options.
