The sims 2 super collection CC .package still doesn't show up in-game

So i installed CC  that ends with ".package" and placed it in my downloads folder, yet it doesn't show up in-game! can anyone help me?

    @Strodering Please try using this folder for installing CC:

    ~/Library/Application Support/Aspyr/The Sims 2

    I tried using that folder, yet it didn't work and just for clarification other mods like objects worked, what im trying to install is clothing. Which aren't working for some reason

        Hm, only one mod appears to be working though. What could be causing the issue?
