The Sims 2 Super Collection on MacBook with M1 chip

I have The Sims 2 Super Collection by aspyr for MacOS and have been playing it on my old MacBook fine for years. I now have a new MacBook with the new M1 chip. I installed the game via the App Store...

Hi everyone! Aspyr just released a patch today for Sim 2 Super Collection. Not sure if it addresses the M1 chip issue, but I did want to let you all know.

So far I haven't been able to run The Sims 2 on my new MacBook.

I have opened a help request ticket with Aspyr, but so far it is still open and not resolved.

If you are experiencing the same issue it might be worth it to also open a support ticket with aspyr. My hope would be that they are more inclined to fix it if they see that there is more interested/more people experiencing the same problem.

    @ccs034 , you will need to go to the Aspyr.com website and register there. Once there, you can find your title and register a support ticket there.
