Hi everyone! Aspyr just released a patch today for Sim 2 Super Collection. Not sure if it addresses the M1 chip issue, but I did want to let you all know.

Apologies for any frustration this has been causing. We are aware of the performance and stability issues the Sims 2: Super Collection experiences when run on the new M1 chips, and we're currently investigating the issue. However, we do not have an ETA for when an update will be available.
If you would like to wait to be updated, we will mark this ticket as solved for the sake of convenience, but don't worry! We will be contacting you to let you know when that update is available.
